Another easy way to contribute to Balboa Magnet is by registering and swiping your Ralphs Card. Year after year, local schools, churches and other non-profit organizations earn millions of dollars through the Ralphs Community Contribution Program. Remember, you must renew your Community Contribution choice each year for Ralphs to make a donation to our school.

How It Works:
Ralphs Rewards Community Contributions donates up to $625,000 per quarter to be distributed among all participating eligible organizations, and $150 per individual Rewards Card or household. Ralphs' contributions are based on a sliding scale per household spending for the month. (For 9/1/12 through 8/31/13, Ralphs paid 1% for up to $200 per month of eligible purchases, 2% for purchases from $200.01 and $350, and up to 4% for over $500.)

How to Register:

1. Log in to www.ralphs.com. Click on “Sign In” or “Create an Account.” 
2. If you are new to the Ralphs Card, click on “Sign Up Today,” and follow the directions to register. 
3. Otherwise, enter your login name and password, click on “My Account,” and choose “Account Settings.” Scroll down to the “Edit Community Contribution” link, and click on it.
4. Type in Balboa Magnet's Organization Number, 80523, and click “Search.” Select our school from the list and click to save changes.
5. Swipe your Ralphs Card or enter your phone number into the credit card terminal every time you shop at Ralphs for the store to give a donation to Balboa Magnet.
