How to Become a Balboa Volunteer
In order to volunteer, you will need up-to-date LAUSD volunteer clearance, which involves several things:
You will need to print out the application and sign a commitment form, which you will submit to the Balboa office. You will also need to bring your proof of TB clearance, if relevant.
Fingerprinting is only required for parents who will be tier III volunteers (those who spend a significant amount of face-to-face time with students in a given week).

- Completing an application at volunteerapp.lausd.net
- Having TB clearance every 4 years
